Sevilla opens in southeast

Sevilla Condominium Homes, a development located in the southeast area of the Las Vegas Valley, is celebrating its grand opening.

"We are very excited about the grand opening of this community," sales agent Valerie Terman said. "Everyone that has come by really seems to like it here. People have been waiting for something this nice in a thriving area and at an affordable rate. This community is located in an area of town that offers so much."

The complex has 128 units and is located at 3135 S. Mojave Road.

"Sevilla is a nice community that offers home buyers a lot for their money," Terman said. "We have beautiful mature landscaping with nice tall pine trees. The location is very good. It's close to everything and yet is a very peaceful community."

The amenities include a clubhouse with social area, a swimming pool and spa, designer-selected exterior paint, mature landscaping, covered parking, a fitness center and barbecue area.

The Valencia plan has 689 square feet and includes one bedroom and one bath. The Barcelona plan has 1,022 square feet and includes two bedrooms and two baths.

Prices start in the mid-$140,000s.

"Many people seem to really like some of the standard features we offer in each plan, such as the granite counter tops. Most of the time people have to pay extra for things like that, or stainless steel appliances, but they will find them just part of the standard package here at Sevilla," Terman said.

Standard features in each plan include 12-inch tile bathtub surrounds, 1.75-inch granite in kitchen and baths, 6-inch crown molding, 4-inch baseboards, a ceiling fan in the nook area, a tile entry and mirrored wardrobe doors in the master bedroom.

Additional standard kitchen features include raised-panel cabinetry with cherry stain, stainless steel appliances and track lighting.

Select floor plans offer two-tone paint throughout, extended crown molding and skylights.

"Right now we have units available for a 60- to 90-day move-in. There are some other great features this community offers. The whole community has wireless Internet and, if buyers use our preferred lender, they get a free flat screen television," Terman said.

The sales office is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
