Richmond's Murano marks grand opening

Richmond American Homes celebrates the grand opening of its Murano neighborhood today in the southwestern Las Vegas Valley. Festivities are scheduled from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Visitors are invited to tour the new model homes and to enjoy complimentary refreshments.

"When it comes to quality, one look at the beautiful models will give buyers an idea of the high standards they will find with a Richmond American home," sales agent Cheryl Morrison said.

Buyers can choose from four two-story floor plans, each with a two-car garage.

The Lapin is the largest residence at 1,756 square feet. The first floor features an open layout with a great room, kitchen and dining room, as well as a separate laundry area and powder room. The second floor features a master suite, three secondary bedrooms and a full bath. One bedroom can be converted to a bonus room or a second master suite with its own bath. The Lapin is priced from the $320,000s.

The 1,559-square-foot Ranier model is priced from the $300,000s. Its entry features a high ceiling and leads into the great room. The kitchen has a breakfast bar, and the dining room is adjacent. Upstairs are the master suite, three secondary bedrooms and a full bath. A loft is optional in lieu of the fourth bedroom.

At 1,472 square feet, the Lambert features a great room, dining room, powder room, and an island kitchen on the main floor. Upstairs are the laundry room, master suite, two secondary bedrooms and a full bath. A loft is optional in lieu of one of the bedrooms. The floor plan is priced from the $290,000s.

Priced from the $270,000s is the Mahogany plan, which measures 1,317 square feet. The main level features a living room, powder room and an island kitchen with a dining nook. The master suite, laundry room, two secondary bedrooms and a full bath are upstairs. A loft is optional.

To visit, take the Las Vegas Beltway to Jones Boulevard, go south to Warm Springs Road and head west.

The sales office is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily except Fridays, when it opens at noon.
