Engle Homes incentive program nears endLas Vegas Review-JournalMar. 18, 2006The Buyer Rewards Program by Engle Homes has proved successful in its first three weeks, and sales and marketing executive Lindsey Thomas urges prospective home buyers to take advantage of it before the end of the month. "The program was dedicated for three neighborhoods -- Copper Creek, Beacon Hill at Mountain's Edge and Somerset -- and specifically to run through the month of March," Thomas said. "We hope any home buyer who is looking to get a beautiful home at a great deal will stop by one of those three sales offices." Through the program, buyers are offered a $10,000 "reward" to be used toward designer upgrades, closing costs or finance options, all using the builder's preferred lender. Thomas pointed out that the participating neighborhoods are in different areas of the Las Vegas Valley. "For instance, Copper Creek in the southeast valley lies near Sam Boyd Stadium, where Clark County has built the Silver Bowl Regional Park, a facility with softball, baseball and soccer fields and lots of play areas for the little ones," Thomas said. Copper Creek is a neighborhood of single-family homes ranging from 1,234 to 2,005 square feet, and priced from the mid-$200,000s. Somerset is a neighborhood of single-family homes in North Las Vegas. The floor plans measure 1,799 to 2,778 square feet and are priced from the mid-$200,000s. Beacon Hill at Mountain's Edge comprises three-story townhomes, ranging from 1,647 to 2,215 square feet. Prices start from the mid-$300,000s. "This is a unique product in the Las Vegas Valley and is an alternative to two-story townhomes, condo flats or costly high-rises," Thomas said. "Going for about $200 per square foot, Beacon Hill at Mountain's Edge is a steal. This is a low-maintenance lifestyle that offers a clubhouse and swimming pool and spa, all within a gated atmosphere." An elevator is optional in the largest townhome design. The builder also has homes available at Jasmine Ranch, Diamante, Falcon Ridge, Rivendell at Mountain's Edge and Cambria.
