"Pardee Homes has a long history in North Las Vegas," said Rob Tuvell, regional sales director for Pardee. "In fact, the first neighborhoods built in Southern Nevada by the Pardee brothers more than 50 years ago were located in North Las Vegas. We're proud of our long-standing relationship with North Las Vegas and excited to open Capistrano, the first of three neighborhoods set to open in Pardee's Vista Cielo community." Capistrano is the builder's eighth new neighborhood in the city, and will comprise 159 homes at buildout. The floor plans range from 1,462 to 1,888 square feet with three or four bedrooms, 2 1/2 to three baths and two-car garages. Options are available for lofts, dens, kitchen nooks, tech areas and downstairs bedrooms. "Capistrano offers homes designed with front courtyard entries, providing a unique atmosphere for buyers," Tuvell said. "The homes provide the conveniences of a two-bay garage, backyards and upstairs laundry rooms, and all homes will be built to Energy Star standards in accordance with Pardee's commitment to build all Energy Star homes." Residences within the gated neighborhood are priced from the mid-$200,000s. The home sites average 2,500 square feet. "We anticipate that Capistrano will appeal to first-time home buyers who may be moving from an apartment or rental situation, as well as those looking to simplify their lifestyle," Tuvell said. A community swimming pool and park are planned. The other neighborhoods in Vista Cielo will be Cordova and Laguna, which are scheduled to open in late April and late May, respectively. Cordova will feature four floor plans, ranging from 1,519 to 2,527 square feet and priced from the high $200,000s. The home sites will average 4,500 square feet. Laguna's residences will measure from 1,577 to 1,985 square feet, and will be built on lots averaging 3,400 square feet. Homes are anticipated to be priced from the low $300,000s. To reach Vista Cielo, take Interstate 15 to Craig Road, go west to Losee Road and turn right. The neighborhood is ahead on the left, about a half mile south of Ann Road. The sales office is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m daily except Mondays, when it opens at 11 a.m. Pardee has built more than 30,000 homes in Southern Nevada.
