While some people may have a hard time seeing past the glitz and the glamour of the Strip, many have come to realize that Las Vegas is more than the Entertainment Capital of the World.  It’s also a city that nearly 2 million people call home, and for good reason.

Everything that seems like a negative in Las Vegas actually has its great benefits.  With the desert having a reputation as being a harsh, uninhabitable environment, it is actually well suited to development, when careful consideration is made.  Las Vegas homes enjoy a beautiful desert moderate climate, with only a few very hot days, and many beautiful ones.  And of course, as they say – at least it’s a dry heat.

Las Vegas homes are also well insulated from the busier portions of the city.  It often surprises how the hubbub of the strip melts into picturesque community living.  Of course, that doesn’t mean it’s given up its unique personality.  You’ll still probably find Elvis impersonators standing in line at the local coffee shop!
